Velocity Mobile was showing off two more upcoming devices at the latest CTIA show. With the Velocity 103 expected later this month and the Velocity 111 to follow sometime after, Velocity is already working a couple of follow-up devices: The Velocity 83 and Velocity 301.
The Velocity 83 is intended as a low- to mid-range device. It will be powered by a 400MHz processor and Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional with the Odyssey user interface. It will come with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, a QVGA display, 64MB ROM and 128MB ROM, GPS, Wi-Fi and a 2MP camera. It will also sport two microSD card slots and an accelerometer. It will not come with the trackball seen on the 103 and 111.
The Velocity 301 is still at the mock-up stage. Intended to replace the 103, it will come with a higher resolution screen and a thinner form factor. There are no further details about it at this point.
Availability and pricing for the Velocity 83 and 301 were not revealed.
