Rather than designing its own custom user interface for the Portégé G810, Toshiba partnered up with Spb Software House to deliver the ultimate mobile device experience. The Toshiba Touch Interface on the Portégé G810 is made up of customized versions of Spb Mobile Shell, Spb Full Screen Keyboard, the Spb Pocket Plus smart scrolling component, and a number of other Windows Mobile customizations.
According to Bertrand Issard, Head of Product Planning & Strategy, Toshiba Information Systems (UK) Ltd., “We turned to Spb Software, with their extensive Windows Mobile software and usability expertise, to support us in creating a highly intuitive user interface for our Portégé G810.”
The Portégé G810 and its Toshiba Touch Interface have been localized into 13 languages.
The Portégé G810 is powered by a 400MHz Qualcomm MSM7200 processor and Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.
