TELUS is kicking off a new marketing campaign called “We believe in smartphones for all” today.
Expanding TELUS’ smartphone portfolio, today’s announcement truly places TELUS in an industry leading position, offering the largest selection of smartphones on Canada’s largest High Speed network from the most recognized manufacturers in the industry – HTC, Research in Motion, Motorola, and Palm. Whether looking for a smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard to email and text or a touchscreen device to browse the Web seamlessly, combined with the flexibility of TELUS’ affordable rate plans and access to Canada’s largest EVDO Rev A high speed network, TELUS clients have the freedom to choose the smartphone that reflects their own needs and lifestyle.
As part of the campaign, it also announced that it will begin to offer the HTC Touch Diamond on August 14th. It will sell for CAD$149.99 with a three-year service contract or CAD$449.99 without a contract. TELUS customers will also be offered a limited time offer of CAD$15/month for unlimited personal e-mail, instant messaging and Web browsing.
The TELUS version of the HTC Touch Diamond will use the 528MHz Qualcomm MSM 7501A processor and chipset.
