The Samsung Instinct has landed at Sprint. They describe the iPhone competitor as a new wireless device that offers consumers an industry-leading user experience by combining full touch-screen functionality with the fast speeds available on the largest national mobile broadband network.
The Sprint Instinct comes with EV-DO Rev A connectivity, a 3.1-inch touchscreen display (240×432) with hapctic feedback, built-in GPS with Sprint Navigation, Bluetooth 2.0, a 2MP camera, and a microSD expansion slot (supporting up to 8GB). It also supports Visual Voicemail and Sprint TV and offers a Speech to Action button for speech activated functions. Samsung also developed its own user interface for the Instinct (with a configurable home screen).
Sprint is offering the Samsung Instinct for USD$129.99 (after a USD$100 mail-in rebate) with a two-year contract. In order for customers to experience the full capabilities of the device, Instinct must be activated on a pricing plan offering unlimited data, with prices starting from USD$69.99 per month.
