The Boy Genius is reporting that RIM is already at work on at least two follow-ups to it just announced BlackBerry Storm.
One device could sport a different form factor that would use the best of both the Bold and Storm, possibly including a slide-out keyboard. It would sport 1GB RAM, a “near-HD quality” display and a 5MP auto-focus camera. Rather than a Storm successor, could this be a new device based on its QWERTY slider patent alluded to in a Globe & Mail article last month?
RIM is also apparently working on a third generation Storm device but little else is known about it at this point.
