Earlier this week, Palm announced that it had now sold over 2 million Palm Centros.
Now available from almost 20 carriers worldwide, including the three largest carriers in the United States, Centro has reached more young adults and women, as well as a broader range of household income, than any prior Palm smartphone.
The Centro is powered by the PalmOS. It comes with a QWERTY thumb keyboard, CDMA/EV-DO or GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity (depending on carrier), 64MB available user storage, a 320 x 320 display, a 1.3MP camera, Bluetooth 1.2, and a microSD slot (supporting cards up to 4GB).
It was only in April that Palm had announced that the Centro had topped one million units sold.
