After being announced back in February, the Nokia N78, a less expensive alternative to the N82, is finally making its North American debut.
The Nokia N78 is powered by the Symbian OS with S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2 user interface and comes with quad-band (850/900/1800/1900MHz) GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dual-band (850/1900Mhz) HSDPA connectivity, a 2.4-inch QVGA display, up to 70MB internal memory, integrated A-GPS, a 3.2 megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens, an FM tuner that can broadcast music to other devices (like your car radio), 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, and a microSDHC card slot.
The Nokia N78 will be available at select consumer electronics and wireless retailers, online retailers and at the Nokia Flagship Stores in Chicago and New York for about USD$560.
