MSI has finally managed to put some (but not all) of its battery shortages woes behind it as it announced today that it was beginning to ship the MSI Wind in the U.S. So far though, it is only sending out units to customers who had pre-ordered the Wind. For those lucky ones, MSI is shipping those orders via overnight delivery as it had promised to do when it announced further delays earlier.
The MSI Wind can also be found at a number of U.S. etailers including Fry’s, Newegg, and Buy.com but expect the same availability shortages.
The units being shipped all come with 3-cell batteries as the 6-cell batteries will only become available in September.
