MSI is set to follow up its very successful MSI Wind U100 with the U120 (Wind 2) according to MSI’s Director of U.S. Sales, Andy Tung. Expected by the end of the year, it promises more of a business focus and an updated look.
Like the MSI Wind U100, the U120 will come with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 10-inch display and 1GB RAM. It will be offered in a number of storage configurations (120GB hard drive or 20GB or 40GB SSD). It will also come with 3.5G connectivity (MSI is talking to mobile carriers) and 802.11 n Wi-Fi.
MSI expects that the new Wind 2 will sell for under USD$600.
