According to The Boy Genius sources, Motorola is preparing for a last stand with a new flagship phone. The new device, codenamed Alexander, apparently represents Motorola’s last effort at reclaiming some marketshare and pride. Should it fail, it appears that Motorola will continue with plans to sell the company
Alexander will apparently be powered by the UIQ (probably version 4.0 or higher) operating system and come with an 8MP camera, a built-in NVIDIA chip to run video and 3D graphics and built-in GPS. It could also sport a touchscreen display.
Alexander is set for release in October.
