More details as well as a picture of the upcoming Motorola Alexander have been revealed by The Boy Genius sources. The Motorola Alexander is intended to be Motorola’s next flagship model. Its success or failure could well decide Motorola’s future in the mobile handset business.
The Boy Genius reports that it will be powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 rather than UIQ as originally reported. It will also come with an NVIDIA graphics chip, aGPS, and a 5 to 8MP camera. It could also sport a touchscreen display. The sole picture shows a QWERTY slider (sliding vertically rather than the more common horizontal slider form factor).
Look for a release in Q4 of this year.
