More pictures of the upcoming RIM KickStart, the company’s first clamshell or flip design, have surfaced courtesy of BerryShack. A comparison shot with the BlackBerry Bold suggests that this will not be a slender device.
In terms of specifications, the current thought is that the KickStart will be powered by BlackBerry Device Software version 4.6. It will come with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, an internal QVGA display and external 160×128 display, an updated SureType keyboard, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm headset jack and a 2MP camera.
BerryShack promises even more pictures soon, including some of the interface.
The release date of the BlackBerry KickStart is expected to be around September.
