Last November, we found out about the HTC Dream which will run on the Google Android mobile operating system. Now comes further evidence that HTC is planning to make the Dream its first commercially available Android-powered device. The article does not shed any new details on specifications but reports that a person close to the project confirmed that the HTC Dream will go on sale before the end of the year.
The device will be just over 12.7cm (5 inches) long and 7.6cm (3 inches) wide with a large touchscreen. Directional controls will be located beneath the screen. It will also come with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
This latest article did not mention the time-sensitive touch capabilities mentioned back last November. Hopefully, that does not mean that they have been dropped.
