Engadget has landed additional details on the UMPC that HP is rumoured to be getting ready. Engadget indicates that they have no reason to doubt their source.
The HP Compaq 2133 is called a lifestyle accessory and some details about specifications have also leaked out. It will feature scratch-resistant 8.9-inch WXGA (1366×766) display, a nearly full-sized QWERTY keyboard, an integrated webcam, either a 1.8-inch hard drive or optional SSD (capacity information not revealed), Wi-Fi, an ExpressCard/54 slot, and USB ports. It will run either Vista or Linux.
The 2133 will come in an anodized aluminum frame and is expected to weigh about 1.1 kilograms (2.5 pounds).
There are still no details about release dates (but expected by late spring) and pricing.
