The Mimique is a mobile phone concept from RKS Design from California. The idea behind the Mimique is to blend the older PDA-style form factor to touchscreen technology. It certainly achieves that goal: It looks like the offspring of an older Treo with external antenna and an iPhone.
Promising to use open-source cell phone software (Google Android?), it will let users download features and skins to suit their moods or preferences. Designed for users who don’t take themselves or their phones too seriously, the eye-catching Mimique concept phone is poised to play a whole new game.
As with other phone concepts, there is no word on whether any manufacturer is looking at bringing the Mimique to market.
