An unidentified MID (Mobile Internet Device) was on display earlier this week at a Lenovo press dinner. It was sitting next to the new IdeaPads laptops that Lenovo recently announced.
Details on this Lenovo MID are very slim. It is powered by Linux and the Intel Silverthorne processor (part of the Intel Menlow platform). It comes with a 4.8-inch touchscreen display, integrated GPS, a camera and is about the same size as the Nokia N800. It lacks a physical keyboard.
The Lenovo MID, name still unknown, should appear in time for the Olympics this summer.
