Opera Software has released a new beta of the upcoming Opera Mobile 9.5. The latest version introduces Opera Widgets to enable one-click Web content access. The latest beta also promises improved page load times, an increased focus on productivity, more stability and support for Symbian UIQ.
Several widgets will come pre-installed and more will be available at widgets.opera.com. The Opera Widget Software Development Kit (SDK) will allow developers to create new widgets and includes the Opera Dragonfly debugging tool and a widget manager.
Opera Mobile 9.5 will be on display at several upcoming events, including the Smartphone Show in London on October 21-22 and Mobile Internet World in Boston on October 22-23.
Note: Opera Mobile 9.5 is still in beta and still has plenty of known issues.
