MobileSyrup.com is reporting that there are rumours flying about that the recently announced Palm Treo Pro is headed to Canada. Citing several rumours, MobileSyrup.com reports that it could be offered by Rogers Wireless as early as September 17th.
The Palm Treo is powered by a 400MHz Qualcomm MSM7201 processor and chipset and Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. It comes with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) and tri-band UMTS (850/1900/2100MHz) connectivity, a 320×320 touchscreen display, 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM (100MB user available), a QWERTY thumb keyboard, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi with one-touch Wi-Fi button, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, built-in GPS, a 2.0MP camera, a microSDHC card slot, a 3.5mm stereo headset jack, and a 1500mAh battery.
There are no details on pricing but we know that an unlocked version will sell in the U.S. for USD$549. I expect that pricing would be quite similar.
