It has been far too long since my last Canadian iPhone rumour. Fortunately, the Toronto Star has come to my rescue to report that industry sources expect that the iPhone will be unveiled as part of a campaign promoting mobile phones with touchscreens.
A Toronto Star source also indicated that Rogers Wireless and Apple were close to an agreement earlier in the year. It may be that the deal has now been signed although neither company has yet to confirm this. Does this mean that all trademark issues have also been resolved?
The Rogers Wireless campaign is set to run between May and July. The timing certainly seems to correspond nicely with the expected arrival of the new 3G iPhone.
