The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Hewlett-Packard is set to release a new smartphone aimed at consumers. A launch is expected in Europe within the next two months. A worldwide release would follow later.
Details about the new iPAQ are slim. It is expected to run Windows Mobile 6.1 and come with a touchscreen, a keypad and Internet connectivity.
