Do you remember the HP iPAQ 900 Business Messenger that HP first announced last September? If you do and you have been saving your pretty pennies to get yourself one, your waiting may be at an end. HP has announced that the Business Messenger is expected to begin by June 30.
The original specifications have received a small refresh. The HP iPAQ 900 Business Messenger is powered by a 416MHz Marvell processor and Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. Essentially, the processor has been downgraded from the original 520MHz but you get Windows Mobile 6.1 instead of 6. It also comes with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band UMTS/HSDPA connectivity, a 2.46-inch QVGA display, 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM, built-in GPS, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, a 3MP camera, and a microSD expansion slot. It also packs a QWERTY thumb keyboard, a five-way navigation button and scroll wheel on the side.
Pricing has not been announced yet but the U.S. version (HP iPAQ 910c Business Messenger) is up on the HP web site.
