Fujitsu Siemens is the latest company to unveil a netbook. The Amilo Mini Ui 3520 was unveiled last week at the IFA tradeshow underway in Berlin.
The Fujitsu Amilo Mini Ui 3520 is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor with an Intel GMA 950 chipset and Windows XP Home Edition. It comes with an 8.9-inch display (1024×600), 1GB RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 1.3MP webcam and digital array microphone, a 4-in-1 card reader, 3 USB 2.0 ports, VGA out, and an ExpressCard slot. It will be available with either a 60 or 80GB hard drive. A 120GB hard drive option will be available in December.
The Amilo Mini will also come with removable clip-on covers, available in five colours including a transparent one.
The Fujitsu Amilo Mini Ui 3520 will be released in Europe in October. Pricing was not revealed but is expected to be around €400.
