According to Czech language SmartMania.cz, E-TEN is set to release its first dual-SIM smartphone. Still rare, these devices support two SIMs, hence two phone numbers. This can be quite useful for international travelers or those wishing to have separate numbers for different purposes (eg, work and personal numbers).
The site reports that E-TEN may unveil the Glofiish DX900 as early as next month’s Taiwan Computex show. Very similar to the upcoming Glofiish V900 in dimensions, it will apparently be powered by a 533MHz Samsung processor and Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. It should come with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band UMTS/HSDPA connectivity (UMTS/HSDPA only on the primary SIM card), a 2.8-inch VGA touchscreen display, 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, GPS (using the SiRFstar III chipset), an FM radio, a 3MP camera, a front-facing 0.3MP camera, and a microSDHC expansion slot.
There is no word yet on availability and pricing.
