E-TEN has announced not only the expected Glofiish V900 but also the M810. The two are the first in a new range of Pocket PC Phones focusing on portable entertainment and go-anywhere communications tailored for the web savvy consumer market.
As reported earlier, the Glofiish V900 comes with support for DVB-H, DVB-T, TDMB and DAB broadcasting standards, a VGA display, HSPDA and GSM connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, built-in GPS and a 3.2MP camera. It will be powered by a 667MHz Samsung processor and Windows Mobile 6 Professional with E-TEN’s new touch-based user interface.
The Glofiish M810 (presumably the successor to the Glofiish M800) is designed to help the new breed of bloggers, podcasters, video makers, and chatters, stay online and updated wherever they are. It will feature HSDPA, 802.1 b/g Wi-Fi, built-in GPS, a full QWERTY keyboard, a 2MP camera, and built-in JAVA support.
The Glofiish V900 should launch in the second half of the year but E-TEN provided no details on when the M810 can be expected.
The two new Glofiish will be on display at the E-ETEN booth (along with other Glofiish products) at the Mobile World Congress running from February 11th to 14th in Barcelona, Spain.
