MarketingWeek is reporting that Dell and Google will partner to launch a mobile phone. An announcement could come as early as next month at the Mobile World Congress according to some senior industry sources. Google insiders though suggest that the announcement (if there is one) will be made later in the year.
Details are slim but such a partnership suggests that Dell would release an Android-powered device. Getting Dell on board would certainly be a strong endorsement for Android as it gets ready to move into a very competitive market.
