Pocket-link is reporting that multiple sources have revealed that Vodafone UK will have an exclusive on the upcoming touchscreen BlackBerry device. One source also indicated that RIM has decided to go with the name ‘Storm’ as a global name rather than ‘Thunder’.
The site also reports that RIM will officially announce the new BlackBerry sometime in early October and that it will be available later in the month. Pricing remains a mystery at this time.
In the U.S., Verizon has already started to promote the BlackBerry Storm.
