GPSAndCo have learned about a new Asustek PDA phone. The new device is quite different from other Asustek mobile phones and bears a striking resemblance to the Nokia E90’s horizontal flip phone form factor. Unlike the E90 which runs the Symbian OS, the M930W will run Windows Mobile 6.
In terms of specs, the M930 will be powered by a 520MHz Marvell processor and Windows Mobile 6 Professional (although it could be the Standard edition as it features both Home and Back buttons). It will have tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and uni-band HSDPA connectivity, 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, a 3.2MP camera with autofocus, and a microSDHC expansion slot.
Too bad it lacks the GSM and 3G connectivity requirements for North America but GPSandCo expect that the M930W will land in Europe in the first quarter of 2008 (although DigiTimes reports a mid-2008 date).
To go with the specs, GPSandCo have a slew of pictures of the device.
