The ASUS press release also indicates that the company is starting to ship WiMAX-enabled notebooks. As XOHM coverage expands, ASUS will unveil new models. It’s not clear though if this refers to a WiMAX-enabled Eee PC S101 or other models.
The ASUS Eee PC S101 will be available starting on November 1st and will sell for a starting price of USD$699. There is no word on Canadian availability and pricing.
