Acer is looking to launch a new 10-inch Aspire One netbook in early 2009. The revelation was made by Scott Lin, president of Acer Taiwan. Currently, Acer only sells 8.9-inch models.
No details about the new 10-inch Aspire One were revealed though. It’s also not clear if Acer will continue to offer 8.9-inch models.
Lin also revealed that the average selling price of netbooks is likely to drop another 10 percent by the end of the year. The largest declines will be seen by mid-range netbooks.
