The Windows Mobile world is about to get a little more crowded. LG Electronics, the fourth-largest mobile phone maker, is planning to release its first Windows Mobile devices soon, according to BusinessWeek. LG is currently developing at least two Smartphones which could use touch-screen technology (like the iPhone) rather than buttons as well as Windows Mobile 6.
A formal announcement is expected at the 3GSM World Congress next week.
LG’s smartphones are expected in the second half of 2007.
