So far, we know that Cingular will have a multi-year exclusive on the iPhone in the United States. Rumours also suggest that Rogers will carry it in Canada. But details about who will carry the iPhone in the rest of the world have been pretty slim to date. Now, the Guardian is reporting that industry insiders have tipped Vodafone as the favorite. Apparently, the two companies are planning a similar arrangement as Apple has with Cingular where Vodafone would be the sole carrier to offer the iPhone in Europe.
The iPhone is expected to launch in Europe by the end of the year.
