First up, Palm has finally released the much anticipated Verizon Treo 700p ROM update. Version 1.10 includes a number of updates. Among those, you will find general performance improvements to the phone application and Blazer browser, system improvements to minimize skipping during music playback and eliminate audio delays experienced on some games, support for new daylight savings time legislation, support for 4GB SD and SDHC cards, an updated VersaMail client for push email, a wider list of supported/compatible Bluetooth wireless carkits, improvements to the user experience with supported Bluetooth wireless carkits and headsets and more.
Palm has also released an update for the Verizon Treo 700w/wx devices.
For the Treo 700w, version 1.22 includes updates such as high-speed dial-up networking, A2DP support, hands-free enhancements and abbreviated dialing preferences.
The Treo 700wx gets updated registry settings for both Bluetooth stereo headsets (A2DP) and Bluetooth Dial-Up Networking (DUN) support, DUN performance improvements and additional Daylight Savings Time features.
