Akihabara News is reporting that the Toshiba Portégé G900 will be available this month but only in Japan and Europe. It will sell for about 600€.
Featuring tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and HSDPA support, the G900 is powered by a Marvel PXA270 processor and Windows Mobile 6 Professional. It comes with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3-inch WVGA (800×480) display, 128MB RAM and 128MB ROM, a built-in biometric scanner, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and dual cameras (a 2MP camera and a secondary video conferencing one) and a miniSD slot.
The final name for the G900 might still be undecided. The G900 FCC certification has some external pictures that feature the name Satellite but the Toshiba web site shows it as Portégé. Unfortunately the Akihabara News pictures don’t settle the question as I don’t see either name on the device.
