Think Secret, a web site focused on Apple news and rumours, has announced that it has stopped publication. The decision is part of a confidential settlement with Apple that stems from a lawsuit launched by Apple back in 2005 after the site posted rumours (which turned out to be true) about the upcoming Mac mini desktop and an update to the iLife software suite.
In the short press release posted on the site, Think Secret publisher Nick Ciarelli said:
I’m pleased to have reached this amicable settlement, and will now be able to move forward with my college studies and broader journalistic pursuits.
Think Secret started in 1999 and was one of the longest running Apple rumours site.
