We knew that the T-Mobile Wing was coming; today, T-Mobile USA formally announced it. Succeeding the discontinued MDA, the Wing is based on the HTC P4350 (codename Herald) Pocket PC phone. It is about 30 percent smaller than its predecessor.
The T-Mobile Wing is powered by a 201MHz TI OMAP processor and Windows Mobile 6 Professional. It comes with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support (no 3G support), a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 64MB RAM and 128MB ROM, a 2.8-inch QVGA screen, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 2.0, a 2MP camera, a microSD slot, and supports T-Mobile’s myFaves feature.
The T-Mobile Wing is available as of today for as low as US$299.99 with a two year service contract.
