The BlackBerry 8800 is headed for T-Mobile and will be available as of Monday April 23rd. Intended primarily for business users, the BlackBerry 8800 will be available through select channels and www.t-mobile.com. The BlackBerry 8800 marks the first time that a T-Mobile phone will come with GPS capabilities but as with the Cingular and Rogers versions, it will not come with Wi-Fi.
The BlackBerry 8800 packs quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support, a full QWERTY keyboard and adds many of the multimedia features that RIM first unveiled on the Pearl. It will come with 64MB of memory, a trackball navigation system, a microSD slot, a QVGA display, voice-activated dialing, the aforementioned GPS and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP.
T-Mobile did not release pricing information.
