Samsung announced the Ultra Smart F700 which will make its debut at the 3GSM World Congress. Like the Apple iPhone, it comes with a touchscreen but it adds a slide-out QWERTY keyboard which allows them to feel the buttons accompanied by responsive vibrations.
The F700 offers 7.2Mbps HSDPA along with GSM/EDGE, a 2.78-inch (440×240) touchscreen, 5MP camera, Bluetooth, a microSD slot, and support for a number of multimedia formats including MPEG4, H.263, H.264 and Real video as well as the MP3, AAC+, eAAC+ and Real audio formats. The F700 will not run on Windows Mobile.
Pricing and availability were not disclosed but maybe we will get that information next week.
The Apple iPhone competition is definitely heating up.
