If you use a Samsung SGH-i600 and live in the Netherlands or Russia, you can now download the free Windows Mobile 6 upgrade. Localized versions for a number of other European countries (including Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and others) should follow shortly. Note that the upgrade requires a PC with Windows XP and ActiveSync 4.x.
the::unwired also reports that Samsung will also now offer the i600 with Windows Mobile 6 preinstalled.
The site and the upgrade will only be available for i600 users until October 31st, 2008. Better hurry up – You only have more than a year!
Hopefully this also means that Samsung will provide a Windows Mobile 6 upgrade for the SGH-i607 (the US Blackjack version).
