RIM announced today that the BlackBerry Curve (formerly known as the 8300) is headed to Canada and will be offered by Rogers Wireless. “As the leading wireless carrier in Canada, Rogers is committed to bringing innovative products like the BlackBerry Curve to Canadians,” said John Boynton, Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer. “Our customers are always looking for smart technology solutions and the new BlackBerry Curve, with its combined power and simplicity, will be attractive to businesses and consumers.”
The Canadian version will be identical to that already announced for the US carriers.
Rogers Wireless will begin to offer the BlackBerry Curve in June. Pricing information is expected closer to the release date.
