The Toshiba Portégé G900 has one impressive set of specs but a nasty little bug that prevents some units from waking up once it has gone to sleep. A patch from Toshiba is apparently on its way and expected shortly. Expansys has been tracking the issue closely and will post the fix as soon as it becomes available.
It is not clear if the upcoming patch will fix other reported issues though.
Featuring tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and HSDPA support, the Portégé G900 is powered by a 520MHz Marvel PXA270 processor and Windows Mobile 6 Professional. It comes with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3-inch WVGA (800×480) display, 128MB RAM and 128MB ROM, a built-in biometric scanner, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and dual cameras (a 2MP camera and a secondary video conferencing one) and a miniSD slot.
