Palm has announced the much anticipated Windows Mobile 6 upgrade for the Treo 750 today at Microsoft Tech Ed 2007 Australia. Before you rejoice too much, the announcement is limited to Australia at this time. Hutchison 3 customers in Australia can download the free update from mid-August from Palm’s Australian website (www.palm.com/au). Other customers will be able to download the update from early September.
I suspect that we will see similar announcement from other countries and regions in the near future.
