Palm has announced its latest addition to the Treo family, the 755p. This CDMA Treo will be available from Sprint in the US starting later this month in either midnight blue or burgundy. The Treo 755p is also the first to come with built-in Microsoft Direct Push Technology email support, Google Maps for mobile and a slimmer form factor (with integrated antenna unlike its predecessor).
The Treo 755p will be powered by a 312MHz Intel XScale processor and Palm OS 5.4.9. It will come with a QWERTY keyboard, a 320×320 display, EV-DO Rev. 0, 128MB of memory (60MB persistent user storage), Bluetooth 1.2, 1.3MP camera and a miniSD card slot.
The Treo 755p will be initially available starting in mid-May from Sprint for $279.99 USD with a 2-year contract.
