O2 Germany is getting ready to release two more devices, the Xda comet and Xda denim. The O2 Xda comet shows up in the September issue of the German O2 can do Magazine and the Xda denim has just received FCC approval.
The Xda comet is the Windows Mobile 6 Professional successor of the Xda Atom life (which did get its own Windows Mobile 6 upgrade). It will be powered by a 624MHz Marvell processor. It will come with tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dual-band UMTS/HSDPA connectivity, a 2.7-inch QVGA screen, 64MB RAM and 1GB ROM, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 1.2, both a 2MP and a VGA camera, an FM tuner and a miniSD slot.
The O2 Xda comet is expected in October but pricing has not yet been revealed.
The Xda Denim is a smartphone manufactured by Gigabyte. Codenamed Helen when we first heard about it back in June, it has now surfaced on the FCC web site. Sporting tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and single-band UMTS/HSDPA connectivity, it is powered by a 520MHz Marvell processor and Windows Mobile 6 Professional. It also comes with a 2.6-inch QVGA screen, a slideout keypad, 64MB RAM and 256MB ROM, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, 2MP and VGA cameras, and a microSD slot.
There is no release date yet for the O2 Xda denim.
