Nokia has finally released the North American version of its N95. The first version to land in the US only supported European 3G frequencies, forcing users to connect using EDGE.
The new N95-3 comes with the 850 and 1900MHz HSDPA bands as well as a higher-capacity battery, increased RAM (to 124MB) and a recessed camera lens for its 5MP camera. It is available in black or tan. Unlike the 8GB version unveiled earlier, it will not come with 8GB of Flash memory or the larger 2.8-inch display.
The Nokia N95-3 will only be available through Nokia on its web site or its flagship stores in Chicago and New York for US$699.
