The successor to last year’s iPAQ rx5915 Travel Companion is the iPAQ 300 Travel Companion which will be powered by a 600MHz Centrality Titan processor and Windows Mobile CE (Not to be confused with Windows Mobile). There will be no telephony capabilities. It will come with a 4.3-inch WVGA display with graphics acceleration, integrated GPS, 128MB RAM and up to 2GB of flash ROM storage, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, and an SD card slot.
On the software side, the iPAQ 300 will feature a custom HP user interface (build on top of Windows CE), support for 3D maps, web-based trip planning services, preinstalled games, and multimedia support (including both digital audio and music players). It will also work as a hands-free system for Bluetooth-enabled phones.
The iPAQ 310 will measure 86.8 x 110.2 x 18.2mm and weigh just under 190 grams.
