Motorola has been pushing the new RAZR2, successor to the very successful RAZR model, with a blanket of ads here in Toronto (and presumably elsewhere in the country). No big surprise then that it is now Coming Soon to Rogers Wireless. Announced about a month ago south of the border, the Rogers version will support video calling if you sign up for a Vision plan.
The RAZR2 is a clamshell phone with a a 2-inch display. It comes with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dual-band HSDPA connectivity, 45MB of internal memory, Bluetooth 2.0, a 2MP camera and a microSD expansion slot.
It will be available for between CAD$459.99 without a service contract and CAD$299.99 with a three-year contract. Sign up for a 3-year Vision plan and the price drops further to CAD$199.99.
The Motorola site for the RAZR2 also shows that it will soon be coming to Bell, Fido and Telus.
