Back in May, HP showed off an e-book reader prototype. A video of the device has surfaced and it shows it in action. It looks to be quite light and quite thin. It uses touch strips around the screen to control functions like contrast, bookmarking, page turning and so on.
The HP e-book reader runs on Linux and uses software developed by HP Labs. Future versions could use touchscreens and Wi-Fi.
