More details about the HTC Shift UMPC surfaced during the Intel Developer Conference. The Shift will be based on Intel’s new Ultra Mobile Platform 2007 (codename McCaslin).
In terms of hardware specs, the Shift will be powered by an 800MHz Intel A110 processor (earlier rumours suggested a VIA processor) and Windows Vista Business Edition. It will come with a QWERTY keyboard, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band UMTS/HSDPA, a 7-inch widescreen display, a 30GB hard drive, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The HTC Shift will be available in Europe and the US in the second half of the year.
