It looks like there is a new player on the Windows Mobile field. MobiNote, a Taiwanese company founded back in 2003, has announced two Windows Mobile devices, the G772 and the G800. Neither is particularly innovative but certainly don’t feature bottom-of-the-barrel type specs either.
The G772 is powered by a 520MHz Marvell processor Windows Mobile 6 Professional. It comes with quad-band GSM/GPRS, 64MB RAM and 256MB ROM, a 2.6-inch VGA display (as well as a QVGA model), integrated GPS, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, a 2MP camera, and a miniSD slot.
The G800 will also be powered by a 520MHz Marvell processor Windows Mobile 6 Professional. But it will come with tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dual-band UMTS, 64MB RAM and 256MB ROM, a 2.7-inch QVGA display, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 1.2, both a 2MP and VGA cameras, and a miniSD slot.
