Mobile device maker i-mate is moving into the area of digital picture frames. During CES, i-mate showed off a line called Momento featuring a 7-inch and 10.2-inch picture frames. Complimentary to these will be a service called Momento Live which will let you upload and send pictures from your computer and even your camera phone to other Momento Live users or to the picture frames directly. It will also let you stream public photo galleries (eg, Google Picaa, Flickr, etc) and RSS feeds to a Momento digital frame.
The frames have a resolution of 800×400 and come with support for SD, MMC, xD, SmartMedia, and Memory Stick memory formats as well as USB and 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi. The frames work in both landscape and portrait formats, come with a RF remote and include built-in clock and calendar display modes.
According to the web site, the Momento Picture frames will hit stores on February 1st.
